Hello! It's been awhile since I've posted on the blog, and what better occasion than to share Baby Pratt's nursery - yes that's right, we are expecting and due October 18th! Life has been pretty busy getting ready for this little one to arrive, but one of the best parts was designing and decorating the nursery. We don't know the gender, so a soft, sage green, neutral creams and whites, and natural woods and greenery were my inspiration. Honestly, even if we did know the gender, I don't think I would have done anything different. People are always so surprised that we haven't found out, but it really doesn't change anything in the long run - at least for us!
Zach took on the vertical shiplap project on the one wall - I could ask him for a tutorial, but I don't think he would ever take on a project like that again haha! It was a big challenge, but for being his first time, he did a great job, and I'm super happy with the results. I think wall treatments are such a nice feature and add so much character to a room. We won't be in this sweet home forever, but I think the next owner will appreciate it, too! The color is Sage Tint from Benjamin Moore.
I decided to do this wallpaper from Target on the opposite wall from the shiplap. I debated painting the opposite wall the same green as the shiplap, but am happy with my decision to wallpaper! The wallpaper is peel and stick, and is fairly easy to put up once you get the hang of it! This particular wallpaper comes in and out of stock. I initially ordered two rolls, but ultimately needed three to complete the opposite side of the room.
Enjoy the photo tour of the nursery! I linked what I could below:
