Exterior Home Decor: Christmas Edition

Hello, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Things looked a little bit different this year (as it did for many), but Zach, Poppy, and I made the best of it. It was our first major holiday in our new home, and Zach smoked a turkey in his pellet grill, which was delicious! It's been a relaxing weekend - just what I needed to unwind.

Today, I am sharing our outdoor Christmas decorations - we actually decorated last weekend because we thought we were going away for Thanksgiving. I'm glad we have it all done, but I can't take all the credit. Zach put up the majority of decorations while I did the (micro) managing ;)

I've shared some pictures below and provided links for the lights etc. A few things are from previous seasons, but I've linked similar options. Also, I can't forget - thanks for the support on my first blog post! Hope you enjoy our outside tour! Thanks for stopping by :)

-String lights around house/roof line - we used 3 strings total and carried the extra onto the bush on the right side of the house

-String lights around windows and two front bushes - I believe we used six boxes total

-I can't find the exact light clips we used, but I'm sure these would get the job done!

-Over the door garland (pre-lit) - used two strands total (18ft)

-Pre-lit 3ft trees (come in pack of two, already in cute pots)

-Lanterns are from the fall from Michaels (I put twinkle lights inside, but didn't realize they don't come with a remote - I might order these instead) - I also like this lantern option and this one

-Wreath is old, but this one is similar

-Love this plain one from Balsam Hill - would look beautiful with a red bow

-Love this llama from Target - I think he adds such a fun touch! Plus, I just love llamas!

-We added wreaths in all the windows from Michaels, and my mom helped me add bows

-This is the ribbon I used - I was able to make 5 large bows with about a half a roll (used the leftover at random places inside)

-The wreaths are hung with command hooks, but to be honest, Zach duct taped some of them, as well (one blew off shortly after we hung it)

-LED candles in the windows are from Amazon (comes with a remote!)

Doormat is old, but LOVE this one (dupe for one I saw @ Anthropologie)

-Also love this one (telling myself I don't need another doormat)

-Large black/white striped rug is Amazon - great for layering, and can be used across seasons!

-Made this wreath several years ago with my mom, figured the fence needed some Christmas love too!

And that's all! Christmas lights make me so happy. We've enjoyed walking around the neighborhood seeing what everyone else has done to get in the Christmas spirit!

Thanks for stopping by!
